We will have our FIRST MANDATORY VOLLEYBALL practice of the season. Please arrive between 11:30 PM - 11:50 PM on Thursday, July 31st. Practice will begin promptly at 12:01 AM on Friday, August 1st.
Wear neon athletic gear (optional), glow accessories (optional), or white/light colors.
IMPORTANT: If your physical has not been submitted and cleared, your drug test completed, and if your online forms have not been received, you ARE NOT ELIGIBLE to participate.

The Cotulla ISD Athletics Department is hosting their annual Cotulla Cowgirls Volleyball Camp on Tuesday, July 29th. Please come and join the fun!
Mr. Benavidez earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in English from Tarleton State University, and a Master of Science in Kinesiology with minors in Educational Psychology and Educational Technology from East Texas A&M University.
We are excited for his creativity and experience into the classroom, and we look forward to all that he will share with our students through digital media!
Ms. Garcia is a proud graduate of The College of Saint Elizabeth, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with High Honors, with a concentration in Social Work.
She brings a strong commitment to student success and a passion for supporting the growth of all learners. We look forward to the positive impact she will have on our students and community!
Reminder!
Initial drug testing will take place on Thursday, July 24th, at Newman Middle School, beginning at 8:30 AM.
All 7th–12th grade students who plan to participate in any extracurricular activities during the 2025–26 school year are required to complete an initial drug test before participating.
A consent form must be signed prior to testing and can be completed online through Rank One at the following link:

Students who are unable to attend the initial testing must contact the STRHS Clinic to schedule an appointment for testing. They may begin scheduling and completing their drug test at the clinic starting Monday, July 28th.
Cotulla ISD will continue to cover the cost of the initial drug test; however, it must be conducted at the Cotulla STRHS Clinic.

August 6, 2025 at the Newman Middle School Cafeteria beginning at 9:30 am.
All new substitutes to the district must submit an online application before attending the training. This training is for both new and returning substitutes.
Last day to sign up online and receive a free shirt is on Friday, July 18, 2025.
In person registration will be available the day of camp as well, however athletes will not be guaranteed a shirt .
