Dr. Mumme earned a Bachelor of Arts in English & Philosophy from The University of Texas at San Antonio, a Master of Science in Educational Administration from Texas A&M International University, and a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from West Texas A&M University.
We are excited for Dr. Mumme as she steps into the role of Academic Dean at Cotulla High School and look forward to the positive impact she will continue to make!

During their mission, they checked on 600 people across the county, visited 334 homes in Cotulla, conducted 3 evacuations, and rescued 2 pets.
We were honored to host the task force at NMS, where they stayed in our gym and held meetings in the cafeteria. The team presented the school board with a flag as a token of their appreciation! 💙





The Mighty Cowboy Band has been hard at work sharpening their fundamentals and preparing for an exciting marching season. We can't wait to see this year's show, "Light in the Dark," come to life under the Friday night lights! 🏟️

Olga earned an Associate of Arts in Teaching and a Bachelor of Arts in Multidisciplinary Studies, with concentrations in Education, Psychology, and Liberal Arts, from Texas A&M International University.
She joins Encinal Elementary as a member of the Special Education team, and we are excited to welcome her to the EES family! 🙌

The Cotulla Football Dept. recently hosted its annual In-House Coaches Clinic this week! 🏈
Coach Rodriguez shared the vision, expectations, and vertical alignment for the Cowboy Football program, while coordinators and assistant coaches presented their philosophies, expectations, and position-specific drills.
It was a great morning of learning, collaboration, and sharing knowledge as our coaches continue preparing for the season ahead. We’re looking forward to an exciting season! 💪
A huge shoutout to Ms. Brianna Villegas of Newman Middle School for providing lunch for the entire football coaching staff. Thank you for your support!

Cesar earned a Bachelor of Science in General Agriculture, with a minor in Plant and Soil Science, from Texas A&M University-Kingsville.
He joins Cotulla High School as a Secondary Agriculture Teacher, and we are excited to welcome him to the CHS team! 👏

New substitutes must submit an online application before attending. We look forward to welcoming both new and returning substitutes as we prepare for another great school year. 👏

All athletes must have the required paperwork completed before receiving their equipment.

Austin earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Sul Ross State University.
He joins Ramirez Burks Elementary as a 5th Grade Math/Science Teacher, and we are excited to welcome him to the Cotulla ISD family! 🙌
