Cotulla High School Cross Country traveled to San Antonio on August 22, 2025 and competed in the SA Friday Night Lights XC meet.at Alamo Youth City Sports Fields. For many, it was a new Friday Night Light experience, but our Cotulla Cowboys and Cowgirls rose to the challenge. Anchored by the experience and leadership of our returning runners and energized by the determination of our Freshman class, our team continues to show steady progress. Top performances of the evening came from two standout Freshman: - Pablo Garcia who competed in the Varsity Boys 5A-6A division placed 15th out of 136 runners with an outstanding personal record (PR) of 15:49.054. - Jazlynn Olivas who raced in the Varsity Girls 1A-4A division placed 29th out of 131 runners with a strong PR time of 13:00.433. Our athletes delivered impressive results against tough competition, with many of our runners producing PR times as they continue to set the tone for what looks to be a promising season for CHS. Job well done Cowboys and Cowgirls!
