The Secure Hold status has been lifted at the Learning Center, Newman Middle School and Early Childhood Learning Center. All students and staff have resumed regular operations.

On August 30, 2025, the CHS and NMS Cross Country teams competed in the Ricardo Gallegos 12th Annual Invitational in Crystal City. Our Cowboys and Cowgirls represented Cotulla with pride, bringing home numerous Top 20 finishes and team awards.

NMS ran their 1st meet of the season and the teams brought home impressive results. The 7th Grade Girls team had seven runners in the Top 20. In recognition of their outstanding performances, the 7th and 8th Grade Girls Teams each earned a 2nd Place Team Plaque, bringing home hardware for Cotulla.Congratulations to all our runners.
