On Wednesday, January 21st, the Cotulla Cowgirls Powerlifting Team hosted an Invitational Powerlifting Meet at the Cotulla High School Gymnasium. Powerlifting teams from Dilley, Natalia, Lytle, Carrizo Springs, and La Pryor attended the meet, bringing nearly 100 athletes to compete. đź’Ş
Despite the large field of competitors, the Cowgirls swept the competition, earning their second consecutive first-place team title. The following athletes placed in their respective weight classes:
