Reach Out, Speak Up | Suicide Awareness Video

Created by NMS students in Mr. Gonzalez's, Principles of Audio/Video class, this short film shares an important message: no one should struggle in silence. Reach Out, Speak Up follows Alex, a student facing depression and isolation, until his classmates remind him that help and hope are always within reach.

September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month—a time to spread hope, increase understanding, and remind each other that help is always available.

The video also highlights key facts about teen suicide and provides resources for anyone who may be struggling. If you or someone you know needs help, please reach out: 📞 Dial 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) 🌐 Visit 988lifeline.org
