Week of the Young Child is a nationwide celebration that brings awareness to the importance of high quality early childhood education. During this week children are provided with special activities that promote a love for learning through play, curiosity, and imagination!

Ms. Devyna Gonzalez was our Exemplary Teacher for the month of March! We applaud her for partnering with Southwest Texas College so that she could further her career and expertise in early childhood education and ultimately obtain a Child Development Associates Certificate. Ms. Devyna has dedicated well over 150 hours of professional development and teaches each of her students with the utmost care and respect. She is a treasure to have in the classroom and we are extremely grateful to have her as part of the ECLC team! Congratulations!

Ms. Mariah Teneyuca was recognized as our exemplary teacher for the month of February! Ms. Mariah's calm and nurturing demeanor creates a safe and welcoming environment for the infants in her classroom. She attends to each of their needs, engages in fun and interactive lessons and is dedicated to providing high quality learning experiences for the babies in her care. We are still accepting baby books, bath books, and nursery books for our book drive! Our littlest cowboys and cowgirls would love your contribution! Donations can be dropped off at the front office.
🔔 The regular School Board Meeting scheduled for Monday, February 23 has been cancelled.
ECLC is excited to announce its very first Story Palooza! This event will encourage a child's love for reading and imagination. Children will participate in a storybook character parade followed by games, crafts, and light refreshments.

ECLC will be hosting a book drive for the rest of February! If you have any gently loved children's books that you would like to donate, please leave them at the front office.
A Fire Drill is taking place at the Early Childhood Learning Center. The Fire Department and First Responders are taking part in this drill. This is only a test.
🔔 All Cotulla ISD campuses, district offices, and tax office will be closed Monday, January 26.
