Congratulations to Cotulla High School Class of 2026 Senior, Kaydin Garza, who recently attended the National Hispanic Institute Leadership Collegiate World Series Rocky Mountain Conference at Regis University in Denver, Colorado June 29-July 3, 2025.
Kaydin has attended all three NHI summer leadership conferences. Texas Star Great Debate, Lorenzo De Zavala Youth Legislative Session, and Collegiate World Series. The National Hispanic Institute CWS Leadership Program covered various aspects of leadership, including public speaking, goal setting, time management, and the college admissions process. At the awards ceremony, Kaydin received her National Hispanic Institute honor cord, and was also awarded a $35,000.00 scholarship per year, for 4 years, to Regis University in Denver, Colorado, for a total amount of $140,000.00.
