Early Release

CISD will have EARLY RELEASE at ALL campuses on Friday, April 27, 2018.

Encinal Elementary: 12:30pm

Ramirez Burks Elementary: 12:30pm

Newman Middle School: 12:45pm

Cotulla High School: 1:00pm  

Classes will resume as scheduled on Monday, April 30, 2018.

Cotulla ISD G/T Nominations

Nominations for entry into the 2018-19 school year for the Gifted and Talented Program at Cotulla ISD for students in grades K-12 will be accepted beginning Monday, April 2nd. Nominations will close on Friday, April 27th at 5pm. The G/T Coordinator for Cotulla ISD is Heather Ramirez. You may contact her at (830) 879-3073 ext.1030 for nomination information.

Help local CHS students go to prom.

Do you have new or used formal dresses, shoes and accessories?

Your donation of any of these items will give a local high school 

student an opportunity to attend a memorable high school event with friends.

Mariachi Cotuleño

Mariachi Cotuleño performed at El Cotton Picker Mariachi Festival at Robstown, TX on Saturday, April 14th. At the contest they earned a Division 1 rating and caption awards for Best Violins, Best Trumpets, Best Armonia and Best Vocals! Their music selections were Mexico de Noche, Tatuajes and En Este Pais.

Mariachi Cotuleño was also part of the attempt to break the Guinness World Record for Largest Mariachi Serenade. They were part of the 669 musicians who performed: Cielito Lindo, Las Mananitas and Volver, Volver.
